We had a fantastic family day out at Van Hage! The new crazy golf course was brilliant – really well designed, lots of fun, and suitable for all ages. We all had a great laugh and thoroughly enjoyed playing together. Afterwards, we took a ride on the miniature railway, which was another highlight of the day. It was a lovely experience and the kids absolutely loved it. The whole place is well kept, the staff were friendly, and there’s plenty to see and do. We’d definitely recommend Van Hage for a fun family day out and can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic Christmas experience at Santa’s Grotto! We visited Van Hage Great Amwell today for our son to meet Father Christmas and didn’t quite know what to expect. The experience was nothing short of magical. We were greeted by very friendly elves who helped the children scoop reindeer food into a bag before heading inside to meet the man himself. Father Christmas seemed to have all the time in the world for my child despite being such a busy man, and was so lovely, patient and kind to my son. We enjoyed a family photo and a lovely conversation with him, before being given a wooden key to Christmas. We were then led into the workshop where the children could each choose a toy of their choice - fantastic quality toys with a great range for different interests and ages. A poem with the elves later and we then went to purchase our family photo. After that, we visited Mrs Clause’s kitchen where the children decorated gingerbread men with sweets! After our experience, we visited the cafe for a hot drink and snack. The service tends to be very slow in the cafe, but the food is great and the staff are very friendly. After a wonderful around the winder wonderland of decorations, we then took a ride on the miniature steam train, which is always such a joy. Overall a truly magical experience that we shall be repeating for years to come!
