Attentive staff, delicious coffee and food, and the cafe is really cozy and atmospheric with comfy seats. Great place for a coffee and a chat or just to sit and unwind for a while. Will definitely come again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely visit to Café Nero, such a nice cozy place to sit and relax for a bit. The hot chocolate was really nice and the vanilla cake slice was so fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. Will definitely be coming back again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Caffè Nero – Honest Feedback from a Loyal Customer (Middlesbrough Branch) I don’t usually leave negative reviews — I genuinely prefer to highlight the positive. But after multiple disappointing experiences, I feel it’s time to speak up. I’ve been a loyal customer of Caffè Nero, and it’s the only café I choose to visit. Unfortunately, this recent visit was the final straw. There is one European (not English) female staff member who consistently delivers excellent service — she’s professional, efficient, and clearly takes pride in her work. She’s the only reason I’ve held on this long. The rest of the staff, however, seem uninterested and dismissive. Any request beyond the usual is either ignored or treated as an inconvenience. It’s disheartening to be met with such indifference time and time again. This particular branch in Middlesbrough is, unfortunately, the closest location to me — I don’t have the convenience of going to another branch. That makes this all the more frustrating. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews it with transparency, and makes the necessary changes. Loyal customers deserve better. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
