The cake was delicious and they served freshly made cake. The cakes had been there a while. We bought 4 cake slices and were disappointed. The kinder Bruno cake slice was stale. The taste difference between cakes is ridiculous. Two of the cakes were clearly left out much longer than the other two. The red velvet cake was dry and stale, while the creamy cake slice I had was moist, soft, and tasted better. The black forest cake was stale and hard, with little flavour, while the chocolate cake was a bit stale but still had a good flavour. If you get these cakes, I would recommend going with the more popular flavours. All that cost us £17, and it was not worth it. We ended up thowing 3/4 away. The cakes looked really good on display so we bought 4 slices. When we got home we were disappointed the cakes were tasteless ,stale and dry. It was obvious they were mutiple days old. The toppings were also stale and the fruit was mushy and uneddable. The cakes was genuarally the worse i've ever had I would of prefered store bought one. The lady at the counter didn't smile and rushed us on chooseing even though we were the only ones there. She didnt even greet us. I highly reccomend going somewhere else that actually sell fresh good slices especially for the price. They are about £4.50 each and we payed a total of £18 for all 4. DON'T GET CAKE HERE!!
