I haven't been to a KFC in ages so I wasn't sure what to expect, but was really pleasantly surprised. A member of staff called Luna was especially kind and helpful, took my order for me because I'm not a fan of self-service kiosks. It was nice to have someone both competent and friendly taking my order when that is so often lacking these days. Thanks, Luna!! Very disappointing experience at KFC Aberystwyth. The restaurant was extremely dirty, and finding a clean table was impossible. We asked a member of staff to clean our table. She told us she would take care of it, but then disappeared into the kitchen and never came back. After waiting for quite some time, we had to ask a second time. When someone finally came to clean the table, it was done very carelessly. The table was left completely wet and was still dirty, making it unusable. What makes this even more surprising is that the restaurant was almost empty at the time. There were only around 4–5 other customers besides us, so it is difficult to understand why basic cleanliness and customer service standards could not be maintained. The floors were also in an unbelievably dirty condition, with food scraps and debris scattered throughout the dining area. It looked as though the restaurant had not been properly cleaned for quite some time. It’s hard to understand how a restaurant can operate with such poor cleanliness standards and such little care for customers. The way our request was handled was unacceptable and showed a complete lack of attention to customer service. I would not expect this level of hygiene or service from any KFC. Had a great experience at this KFC! The customer service from Nina was absolutely excellent. She was friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to help with my custom order. It’s always refreshing to see someone take the time to make sure everything is just right. The food was fresh, the service was quick, and Nina’s positive attitude really made the visit stand out.
