Visited the area recently and was incredibly disappointed by the front-door security standards at Calluna Nottingham. The door supervisor on duty was completely distracted from his safety responsibilities—he was actively vaping while standing on the door and blowing dense vapor clouds directly over the entry path where patrons wait in line. Door staff are supposed to be focused on crowd control and public safety, not their personal habits. The full clip of this highly unprofessional behavior has actually been broadcast publicly on YouTube (see the video 'Knockout Audit - Tied Up In Notts' right at the 12:42 mark) for everyone to see. I expect a much higher standard of professionalism and situational awareness from a prominent venue in Nottingham. Management seriously needs to look at their security contract. 1st time trying to get inside but was denied by a small young doorman. A talller gentleman let us in but this small gentleman said no. I asked why he said "no entry because I said so" We are not white and out dress code was perfect so there was no issue to deny entry. We had just come into town and decided to go there but no racist doorman had other ideas. Nevermind we'll spend our money else where. If your a person of colour, AVOID Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We stumbled across this bar on Sunday after grabbing Wingstop, and it turned out to be such a great find! We actually met the manager outside beforehand, who was absolutely lovely and so welcoming—it really set the tone for the whole visit. I made the most of happy hour and had a £6 cocktail, and I can definitely recommend the lychee spritz—it was delicious! The music was spot on and really matched the vibe, making it such a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink. All in all, such a warm and welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back again! Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
