Great restaurant with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The calzone was a little too big for me, so I could only finish half of it. The service was excellent and very quick. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40

Visited capeesh restaurant on Thursday 20th August for a meal with husband & daughter. Restaurant is lovely inside and looks on to the water. 2 out of the 3 of us had a starter, I had prawns in lemon and butter which was nice and daughter had focaccia. I ate all the prawns and was sitting with plate waiting to be cleared when the waitress appeared with the main courses for all 3 of us. No one had come to remove our starter plates, this is simple restaurant etiquette, I had to move the plate on to next table to allow her to serve the second course, I really should not have to do this. 2 Points here, 1: the Restaurant Server should have been to our table to Check we had finished, cleared the plates and called for our main course, 2: The Chef should also have been calling on the Server to Check if we had finished Starters before serving up the main course. Main course was good but again the Server made another Fauxpas (Same Server) as I am quite a Slow eater and my husband and daughter had finished before me, she approached our table and asked to clear my husband & daughter plates, obviously Not mine because I still had a lot on my plate. You should alway wait until everyone at the table has finished unless someone has requested you to remove. Both These are or should be Standard in Restaurants, they seem to have been lost somewhere for some reason. Apart from that the female Server could not have been nicer, very pleasant but I’m pretty sure she was aware that I wasnt impressed with both of these points. Both the Males Servers on that night came a Couple of times to Check everything was ok with our meal and that was good. Overall apart from These points this restaurant is worth a visit for Food, and Setting which is lovely. As a final note which I’ve just remembered…. I was not given starter cutlery for my prawns so used the main course cutlery and then I had to ask for fresh cutlery. I would say also the food is more Brit/ American Italian rather than authentic Italian. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: From memory there were quite a few vegetarian options.
