I’ve always wanted to give Capones Pizza Parlour a try, so this week I decided to treat myself and the family and was genuinely looking forward to it. We ordered: * Roast Chicken XL Thin Crust with black olives, mushrooms & sweetcorn * Texas Hitman BBQ XL Thin Crust When collecting the pizzas, I could already see they looked slightly burnt around the edges coming out of the oven. Unfortunately, once we got home (only around 5 minutes later), things got worse. The roast chicken pizza toppings completely slid off the base as soon as we picked up a slice. The base itself felt undercooked and doughy. The chicken tasted very poor quality — almost plastic-like — and overall the ingredients were disappointing. Both pizzas felt undercooked despite the burnt edges. To be completely honest, frozen pizzas from Iceland would have been nicer and at a fraction of the price. In the end, all of the pizzas went in the bin. I called afterwards, not even asking for a refund, but simply to explain the experience and hopefully get an explanation. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive and unfriendly, basically saying it was “just my opinion.” The customer service was disappointing and didn’t help the situation at all. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hands down one of the best family run pizza places in the area. Have been ordering from here for years, I love their Capone’s special with a thin crust it’s absolutely delicious every time. Delivery is usually quick and the drivers are always friendly and polite. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza and excellent service! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
