Had a spectacularly good pint of Harvestons here yesterday, staff were lovely and the atmosphere gave me everything I want from a pub. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

For the local pub feel without the tourist trappings, this small cozy pub by the shore has pizza till 11. Great pints, basic cocktails, and front and back sitting rooms make it worth a stop. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Pizza had a GF or V base available

As Leith becomes more gentrified it is good to see that pubs like The Carriers Quarters has not changed one little bit. A good old fashioned boozer that many will walk past without realising it there. From the outside it looks like it might be a tiny bar but it has large seating area at the back. If you are looking for a bar to watch the footy you will get a good seat in here as well. Good selection of beers from various local breweries such Moonwake, and the prices have stayed reasonable. One of those pubs where you will prop the bar up and end up talking everyone. popular place for people working around Leith Docks and the like so you will hear some cracking stories. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
