We came here for a Sunday roast and it was delicious. I got the lamb and it was cooked to perfection and falling off the bone. My partner got the beef short rib and said the same. Plenty of veg, plenty of gravy, all very tasty and excellent value! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

What an absolute find. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life, if not the best. Had the lamb shank it was delicious. Came with a massive variety of vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a pig in blanket. Extra gravy and mint sauce too without having to ask. Absolutely fantastic and would definitely recommend. 5 star meal and service Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a nice welcome we had to this lovely village pub .Had a few drinks then decided to stay and have a meal and a few more drinks Our meal was excellent lovely presentation and hot . Dessert was delicious too and all at a reasonable price . Staff were very friendly and l have to say the ladies toilet were so sweet with all the hand lotion, hairspray etc.what a lovely touch . Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
