Well what a taste sensation! Went to see a play and ate beforehand at cavo. Small plates and wine -. Lots of outdoor seating. Wow, such interesting food bursting with flavour. . The whipped savarin poached apricot with figleaf dressing andhoneycomb was to die for as were the kebabs .. and the wine.. in fact everything. we made pigs of ourselves Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First visit on Sunday after padel at the nearby York St John playing fields! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. The menu looked enticing and we struggled to choose a dish each! We ordered at the bar and the drinks came pretty quickly. We chatted to the friendly waitress and didn’t realise it was linked to Tasca in York & Easingwold! The food was fresh and delicious, and we cleared the plates!! We will definitely return again in the near future! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately they stop serving food 2 hours before they close, they should really advertise that. The seats are very uncomfortable and tables too low for how high the chairs are. Coffee was "good" at least, but a place with a lack of parking and an uncomfortable setting, it's better to go elsewhere with better coffee and food served until closing.
