Our first visit to this bar, a very pleasant experience.The bar is bright & modern with an excellent selection of beers & spirits. The service was excellent, the girl on the bar was very friendly & efficient. All in all a pleasant way to spend a few hours. Would recommend without hesitation. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £20–30

Such an amazing pub. The staff are all so kind and attentive. Clearly very well trained. As a young girl it is so lovely to have a play to come and feel safe and welcome. The staff look out for everyone in the pub. Great for family’s, couples and a group of friends! The best pizza a pub could offer! And of course their amazing karaoke Friday nights are the best in Edinburgh. The manager Pauline has done such a good job at making it a welcoming local for everyone. To the girl complaining about the staff last night…there is never an issue getting served in The Tarbet….all the staff are lovely and very quick to serve anyone male or female! Maybe because you got told to be quiet as you were being very loud while people were trying to watch the football…myself included…was the reason for your ridiculous review maybe drink elsewhere then everyone will be happy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40
