After a long journey home yesterday we decided to treat ourselves to a curry. We ordered 2 curries, chicken tikka masala and a lamb rogan josh. Very little meat in either, both sauces looked identical and greasy. Disappointing have been using this local takeaway for a number of years, sadly the quantity and quality is not to our standard. Sorry but we won't be returning. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

My friend and I were working at a wedding in Nottingham and wanted a quick dinner before the long drive home. The owner kindly brought out some plates and cutlery so we could eat inside rather than in the car The food was fresh, flavourful, and not overly oily or salty, which can often be an issue with Indian takeaways. A really enjoyable meal and a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference after a long day. Chai Roti consistently serves up hot non greasy flavoursome food. I tried many Indian takeaways locally and nowhere comes close. The guy at the desk is always friendly and helpful. The food is a great price- 4 curries, 4 rice, 3 nan/ roti normally costs us aprox £42. Great with allergies.
