I visited on June 5th, 2026. Food was delicious, HOWEVER the owner was VERY mean and I did not feel welcome here at all. He was rude and pretty much barked at me when I was asking him about the menu. After a long day of driving I just wanted to have a snack and a coffee to regroup and move on for the day. I felt so unwelcome that I decided to eat my meal in me car and didnt bother with the coffee. He then came out and kicked my out of the parking spot while I was eating. Idk if he was having a bad day, but this does not justify his poor behaviour. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Went to Chef in the Kitchen after a workout because the Turkish cravings were real — and honestly, such a good decision. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the owner was incredibly kind. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned. I got the lamb kofte and it was AMAZING — tender, flavorful, everything you want it to be. Already excited to come back and try the rest of the menu. My husband's Turkish friend said this is the best Turkish in Halifax.
It is always so good, dine in or take away, wrap is so delicious, substantial and price is reasonable. salads and dips are so fresh. Highly recommend the place.
