Although the place looks great with a vrand new second floor and private room, the restaurant is clearly not ready to receive large group or as many clients. we waited more than 2 hours for food wich arrived in weird waves (some peaple ate by themselves while the table received their plates 20 minutes later) and drink order took for ever to arrive. Menu is varied but the food was very bland and overpriced, 22$ for a chicken sandwich and fries is a bit much. Very disapointing as this is a local spot but would not recommend on weekends or with large groups

old chelsea pub:
today i went to the chelsea pub since it had been almost a year since returning and the last time I went there it was delicious. today when i arrived I had a different experience. the inside of the chelsea pub is really pub like and nothing special. but the outdoor patio is so nice. the chelsea pub is right on a really busy road. but if you ask for the back of the patio it's very quiet. today we couldn't get the back of the patio for some odd reason so we ended up with the front of the patio right beside the busy dusty road. and of course they decide to put us at the only table with no umbrella so the sun was in our eyes the whole lunch. my whole table ordered the poutines. when they arrived they looked delicious and tasted just as good. they were just perfection. after all quebec does make the best poutines. the service at the chelsea pub isn't very good. all the waiters are young and don't usually understand what's going on. i asked for a water during the meal and it took them 10 minutes to get it....all in all the Chelsea pub is a really great pub with great food. just the service isn't ideal. I will probably return back just because there food is really good. rate: 6/10 :|
