We eat here frequently and genuinely believe it is by far the best pub on the island for food, the children's park outside is also absolutely exceptional it's a big lovely spacious pub and the service is always amazing..... Except, the man that does the carvery's, totally unfriendly, impolite, scowls at customers and truly looks like he hates his job and the public in general, it's a real let down to an otherwise 10/10 venue, the rest of the staff are exceptional, perhaps this guy could be trained to have maybe an ounce of customer service? Won't stop us coming but just a let down Service: 3

We didn’t stay, we had the most amazing Sunday carvery. The amount of meat you got and quality of vegetables and variety you had was amazing. every time I come over I always make sure we have a meal here, I definitely recommend this place. The staff are really friendly and always asking if we are ok and if we need any drinks. Do yourself a favour and book a meal here you won’t be disappointed. Service: 5
