First and last visit today. Rude member of staff who could and should have been courteous and polite when letting us know that dogs were only allowed in the bar area. We were not aware. He then relayed his outburst to the locals so they could chuckle away together at our expense (whilst I was at the bar paying the bill). Very customer friendly NOT!

We had a fantastic meal at The Cherry Tree Pub and couldn’t fault a thing. I chose the Pork Calvados, which was cooked to perfection – tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. My husband had the fish and chips, and he said it was the best he’s had, with crispy batter, flaky fish, and delicious chips. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a lovely meal. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend The Cherry Tree Pub to anyone looking for excellent food and great service. went for the Friday fish special, which was always a hit previously. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the fish batter was so greasy that when a knife was pressed onto it the oil oozed out and it was the consistency of a pancake, the chips were also very greasy. presumably the fat was not up to temperature? REALLY disappointing
