Called in today for fish and chips Lovely and clean and tidy, the bathrooms too. Great atmosphere. The ladies serving were so accommodating I have coeliacs so the gluten free menu was perfect for me. I went for gf cod, chips and curry sauce, to my surprise even the curry was made separate and gf!! Kids both had a kids meal at £7 which was fantastic and also come with a pudding!! Daughter (8) had Fish goujons, chips and curry sauce. When the goujons came, 2 of them together was the same size as the small cod!! Nuggets, chips and beans for my son (9). Also a huge portion Proper chicken nuggies too!! Not the processed stuff. Auntie went for pensioner special which comes with a cuppa tea and she couldn’t finish!! The £7 kids mean comes with ice cream as pud, which we were expecting to be a little pot of ice cream or maybe 1 scoop. Nope; 3 full scoops of beautifully creamy ice cream, flavoured sauce AND a little chocolate wafer tube too!! Once the kids had demolished their food and they ordered their flavours of ice cream and sauce I was literally gobsmacked Such great value and amazing food!!! I have eaten a lot of gluten free food but today was thee best gf meal I have had EVER!! Isn’t just the fish that is gf either!! They have a huge gf menu along side the normal menu. It was divine 1000% recommend. This will be our regular chippy from now on. Awesome job guys, keep it up!!!
