My favourite local takeaway! Food is always lovely and timely. Staff there are also really friendly. Crispy shredded beef, duck pancakes and the udon noodles I would recommend.xx Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Firstly here are the online stats for China Express in East Ardsley:- * Food hygiene visited Ardsley on 8th September and gave it a 1 star for major improvement necessary. * 3.3 stars on Google * Just Eat have - 5 star rating?! I did not know the above before I ordered my food on Just Eat and after waiting over an hour for my order it turned up very cold. Especially so in certain parts, as though it had been removed from the fridge and flashed in a pan rather than cooked from fresh. The food was inedible. After a phone call to see what had happened they hung up on me because they were too busy and basically they were sorry but tough luck. I have them another call to say I would pop in to sort it hoping that if they were busy I would just get it sorted and I would wait for it to be recooked. 30 - 40 minutes of negotiations in the shop where I was refused a refund (other than £13 from Just Eat but the order was for £52). The chef would not take any responsibility and refused to recook any of the order unless I returned the food I had serve up at home. I waited for the manager and chatted with a few of the customers to explain my predicament as the manager would not come out to speak with me and just left me stood there. In this time they had three phone orders and four customers so hopefully not many people will suffer from upset stomachs. Realising that I would have to take this up with just eat and it was a fruitless journey I decided to have one last attempt and asked for the managers name and to see their food hygiene certificate (full Karen mode activated). The lady at the counter claimed she didn't know the managers name - the person who employed her I searched and saw the reviews along with the 1 star rating online and as I was leaving tried to warn the couple that had just arrived to get food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
