Food wise this is my favourite chinese and I have been a loyal customer for many years. HOWEVER, tonight i was let down I placed an order at 18:10 for just over £40 and was told it would be 45 mins to an hour. After waiting 1hr 20 mins I rang the takeaway and asked if my food was even ready to be told it would be 15 mins. It still hadnt arrive after 1hour 50 mins. I telephoned and cancelled. No apology nothing. Low and behold it turned up 7 mins later no discount offered or apology again. Needless to say I refused the order after a poor attitude from delivery driver. I explained that if I had been told orginally that the order would have taken 2 hours to be delivered I would not have ordered given that one of us is diabetic and cant just sit and wait that long.

Chinese Chef over all is a great producer of Chinese and Cantonese food (done the British way of course) this means you are sure to find something you will like. Pros: Reliable Value for money Good Selection However Chinese Chef does suffer from what a lot of Chinese restaurants do in England. With no digital presence such as a Facebook page (even this google business page isn't managed) it is notoriously hard to find any information online (including the menu). The Decor is off-putting as it feels dirty (its not, its just dated) and with a cash only system in a modern world it makes accessibility to those who aren't paid cash in hand. Cons: No digital presence Menu hard to find online/physically Stereotypical Chinese Takeaway look Cash Only Personally I recommend: Garlic Chicken Sweet Chilli Crispy Beef Salt and Pepper Chicken Salt and Chilli Chips
