Recently hired out the venue for a private function. Amy and Kirsty were brilliant from start to finish, accomodating requests and making the whole experience an ease. On the night, the food, service and venue were brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone on using this venue. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for birthday celebrations, had a special seafood platter for two which was delicious, there was so much we actually struggled to have everything on our table, I know an odd complaint but the table was a little small. Staff were good but initial service was a little slow and time between starter and main was about 40 minutes. So it was good there was so much great food! Will definitely return. I had a belated birthday meal at the chronicle restaurant on Saturday evening, I had such a lovely evening with my friends and family. The staff had been so accommodating helping to get everything organised so we could all sit on one long table. There was a nice warm welcome on arrival and everything was ready for us.. we were given time to get settled at our table, before being asked about drinks etc, there were 10 in our group and we had preordered our meals, but the food was brought out so everyone ate together with plenty of time between courses. We all appreciate good food, and we were not disappointed, the food was amazing, I had the lamb and it was so so tasty and tender, everyone enjoyed their food, from the lovely starters though to the yummy desserts and coffees. Thank you to all the lovely staff for making my evening so special Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Duck Breast, Lamb Rumb, Basket of Artisan Bread
