Absolutely first class. Old school Italian service where the guys cleaning your table (twice) are dressed in logo branded aprons. Real family owned vibe to the place and outstanding amount of expensive attention to detail to the place/decor. You could be in a high end Mayfair London restaurant. Main hosts are in sharp suits and look the part. First time here and the food is exceptional. Love our first experience 25/07/26. Regards David. Having made a booking some weeks earlier, we were looking forward to a good night out with friends. The customer service in this restaurant, from all staff was utterly appalling and quite frankly embarrassing. One of their staff, Marco was extremely rude, made us wait over an hour for a table that had been booked. Not a single apology but instead made us feel that we should be grateful to even be there. I say member of staff, as the arrogance and contempt that he showed for customers in this restaurant was shocking. If Marco truly was the manager and owner (as he claimed several times) then i fear for anyone who chooses to dine here - he showed a sense of entitlement and arrogance that was embarrassing (for him) and disgusting to experience. Personally we will be boycotting this restaurant, as will our friends. We live locally and have shared our experience with friends who could not believe how arrogant and self-indulged this establishment has become.
A piece of advice whether Cibo Wilmslow take it or not, is that they should never take for granted the customers that they rely on. There are plenty of other restaurants that value their customers as we gratefully experienced instead, and with staff, or worse still, management like Marco, these guys are on a slippery downward slope.
Id give them zero stars if I could. Shame on you Cibo Wilmslow!
