I went to cleaver this Friday for happy hour. The happy hour deals made the drinks super affordable, and our bartender Christian was AMAZING. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CA$10–20

Overheard management berate a young server while trying to find the bathroom. Or at least someone who thinks of themself as management. I would never talk to another human being that way, yet alone a young woman who was half his age!! Standing over someone and berating them loudly in earshot of customers is poor management and a sloppy intimidation tactic. So is threatening to withhold tips, which is also illegal. If you’ve ever worked in the service industry, DO NOT SUPPORT CLEAVER ON 17TH!! Go somewhere else that actually respects their servers and staff. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60
