We rolled into the Coach & Horses like a small, hungry army of six, fully expecting to overwhelm them — but instead, they welcomed us like long-lost relatives at Christmas (minus the awkward political debates). The staff didn’t just find us a table, they found us the table — the kind you settle into and think, “Yep, I could live here.” Within minutes, plates of glorious food started appearing, each dish looking like it had been personally blessed by the pub gods. Crispy, golden, and seasoned with what I can only assume is pure wizardry. Somehow, they managed to feed all six of us without breaking a sweat, smiling the whole time like we weren’t secretly testing the limits of their kitchen. Every bite was the kind of “best food ever” moment that makes you forget you own a cooker at home. We came in hungry strangers, and left full, happy, and wondering if we could get adopted by the place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £100+
