I popped in her last August on a Sunday for the Football and just fell upon this establishment. With a pal of mine we are both from central London and we fell in love with the place . What a great bar much both behind the bar and on the stools the locals. Made me and my mate very welcome . I’m coming back to this pub in May and I can’t wait . Thanks Des Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic food and lovely people. The value is exceptional. Columb St Major is an architecturally beautiful town, not swanky but full of charm. A couple of lovely traditional pubs there too.

Was recommended to try the Coaching Inn Sunday lunch & we love ‘olde worlde’ pubs.
Roasts good value for money tasty & hot
beer prices & roasts very reasonable especially as we’ve been paying well over £7-8 for a pint & a half of Doombar in Newquay & £11 for a small size roast.!
Interested in history like we are we found out
online that the Coaching Inn was built in 1661
does this make it the oldest pub in Cornwall!
In economic times it’s refreshing to not be ripped off …keep up the good work.
