A breath of fresh air to see a gorgeous wee cafe like this on the coast. We had two americanos, a sausage roll and cake. Great prices, lovely customer service and so nice to sit and enjoy the views. Great brunch with an outstanding sea view! It was my partner’s and my first visit there, and the smell of coffee was simply the best welcome. I ordered a dirty chai, and my partner had a flat white. She enjoyed a homemade sausage roll, while I had a goat cheese toastie. For a wee cheeky treat, we shared a carrot cake that tasted wonderful. Our only feedback would be to add more walnuts for an even better texture. We were very lucky to be served by one of the café staff members who holds a British Sign Language Level 6 qualification and is training to become an interpreter. That made for brilliant communication access and ensured our brunch order was spot-on. All the staff made us feel warmly welcomed, and the local people were so friendly. We’d highly recommend visiting Coan Café a wonderful place for mindfulness, connection, and love.
