I would describe this as a quiet, local pub serving it's community. Not somewhere you might be looking for in terms of ambience and vibe shall we say. Nice function room that was decked out for a party but Saturday afternoon was a little on the depressing side. The sun was out, temperatures soaring so you might expect a bit of a buzz but only 4-5 people actually in the pub. It felt like the scene in American Werewolf where the backpackers walk in. Maybe it's buzzier when they have love music! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Visiting family and came in to get away from them to be honest. This pub is proper old school vibes..well looked after beer/cellar/glasses...perfect pint hence why i had 3 very good company from the regular guys at the bar and the lovely lady behind the bar Lisa. Everything's clean tidy and the women's bathroom smells like coconuts. Highly recommend! I hate everywhere but hella like this pub! Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
