the service wasn't really the best, the place itself was fair clean a bit dirty, and the food was absolutely awful not only was the fish and soggy, bland and chips were hard inside but in the fish fingers we bought for the kids had what seemed to be like plastic, only best thing was the ice cold water I got, dont choose this place as a first option for food!!! couldnt get photos as they took it off us before we got chance Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

For possibly the most famous Northern seaside resort town, most of the attempts at cashing-in on the fading fish-n-chips hype are awful. Cod Father is excellent. Not just for genuinely well-prepared and cooked and battered staple fish and chips, but for the usual extra options and for also offering more than you may be searching for. A whole section dedicated to bloomin marvellous milkshake sundaes. Plenty of space inside, outdoors seating also available. It's on the prom. Parking isn't ideal but don't let that put you off. Cod Father is one of the *few* Blackpool fish take out/eat in options I'd entertain. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking
