Stopped by Coffee Pot this morning on a whim, mostly because I needed caffeine fast, and honestly I’m really glad I did. The place doesn’t try too hard to be trendy, which I actually appreciate—just a relaxed, cozy coffee shop with plenty of natural light and a calm vibe that made easing into the day a lot nicer than I expected. I ordered a flat white and a small pastry, and both were surprisingly good. The coffee had that smooth, almost velvety texture that’s hard to find unless someone actually knows what they’re doing behind the machine. No bitter aftertaste, no weird burnt flavor—just a solid cup that woke me up without making me jittery. The pastry (some kind of flaky almond thing) tasted fresh, like it hadn’t been sitting in a case for hours. Service was friendly in a low-key way. The barista chatted just enough to make the place feel welcoming but didn’t hold up the line or force conversation. I sat near the window for about twenty minutes, and it seemed like a mix of locals and people grabbing takeout. All in all, great little spot. Not overhyped, not overpriced—just good coffee done right. I’ll definitely be back.
