Collective Arts beer is some of my favourite beer. That said, I would recommend buying beer for takeaway and getting food elsewhere if you're hungry. Unless they have a pop-up/guest chef, the food has not been great. I say this as someone who has been drinking Collective Arts beer for almost 10 years at this point. On my most recent visit in May 2026, there was only one person working. They were new and understandably overwhelmed. If you have a chance, go to the Hamilton Collective Arts taproom. The atmosphere is better (less chaotic), they have regular community events (vintage markets, music and comedy shows, even line dancing nights), plus the food is better even though they're limited to paninis -- the paninis are really good! The staff is always super nice, they make it a great experience from the start. I really like their beers and ciders, they have a nice patio and even some boardgames. Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Hamilton legend has officially made itself at home in Toronto! I’ve been a fan of their brews since the early days in Hamilton, but having this spot in the city is a total game-changer. The vibe is exactly what you’d expect—creative, industrial-chic, and high energy—but the real surprise was the food. Instead of the usual pub fare, they’re serving up Mexican-style snacks that are actually designed to be shared. We grabbed a few different plates and they paired perfectly with the experimental pours you can usually only find at the brewery. Highlights: • The Beer: Huge selection, from their classic IPAs to the more limited, small-batch releases. • The Food: The snacks are fresh, punchy, and perfect for a group. Don't skip the tacos or the shared dips! • The Atmosphere: Great for a casual hang or starting a night out downtown. So glad I don't have to hop on the QEW anymore to get the full Collective Arts experience. Definitely a must-visit in Toronto right now! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
