The Colliers Arms reopened on Saturday 31st May. The new team running it are very hospitable and ideally suited to the business. It was great to see that cask Old Brewery Bitter is usually available, sadly on today's visit, they had run out, due to its popularity. I'm assured the appropriate levels of stock will be ordered in future, as they 'find their feet'. A full refurbishment has taken place and it was noticeably very clean throughout. No food at the moment served, but I can imagine being so close to the crematorium it would be in an ideal location. At the moment, they do not have a telephone connection, but I understand that is under review. I'm sure the future for this pub will be very prosperous. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hope I've got the right place, near Elland, by the canal in West Yorkshire and owned by Samuel Smith. Wonderful meal; we both had delicious liver and onions. Great surroundings, interesting pictures and friendly atmosphere and service. Great value and lovely food - didn't know what to choose.Couldn't find on Trip Advisor.

having visited the pub recently must say it was not a good experience, ordered a sandwich and a coffee, firstly the bar person was rude and patronising and obviously did not want to be there, the prawn sandwich was sparse with a bit of lettuce thrown in with a fingernail of mayo and the coffee was cold, it was way overpriced, and must say will not be returning.
