We came to Colombo Kitchen to celebrate our anniversary, and it certainly lived up to the occasion. From the moment we arrived, the surroundings were incredibly pleasant and comfortable - and given the temperatures this summer, the air conditioning was very much appreciated! Our server, who I believe was called Kesh, was incredibly personable and made a real effort to talk to us and make us feel welcome. The service throughout was speedy and efficient without ever feeling rushed, and the recommendations we were given made choosing from the menu much easier. Most importantly, the food was absolutely wonderful. The portions were incredibly generous, and my partner and I agreed that the level of spice was absolutely perfect. What really stood out, though, was the personal approach and attention to detail. The staff took the time to ask our names and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. When I managed to spill some food on my shirt - entirely my fault for being such a plank - they immediately brought me something to help clean it up. An absolute delight from start to finish. Wonderful food, generous portions and genuinely warm, attentive service. We would highly recommend Colombo Kitchen and will definitely be back again soon. We went the best Sri Lanka cousie in London. Dinul welcomes is in a warm heart and the atmosphere, customer service and made us feel home. Lamprise, kottu, and fried rice brought back memories Highly recommend.
