Google Review I’m sharing this review respectfully and in the hope that it is received as constructive feedback. I visited Contrada on College on August 17th at approximately 8:35 p.m. and unfortunately left with a very uncomfortable impression of the way two kind gentlemen who walked in were treated. Mr. Patrick, who appeared to be the host that evening, seemed to have an issue with them when they simply asked for his name. I cannot say with certainty what motivated the interaction, and I do not want to make an accusation I cannot substantiate, but there was an undertone to the exchange that felt uncomfortable and, to me, came across as potentially racially insensitive. I believe restaurants have a responsibility beyond serving good food. Hospitality is about making every guest feel welcomed, respected, and valued, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Even a brief interaction with a host can leave a lasting impression. I say this with respect because I genuinely believe this is something the restaurant can learn from. Food can be excellent, but the overall experience is only as good as the atmosphere and the way people are treated. For that reason, I’m giving my experience 1/5. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, looks into what happened, and reinforces the importance of genuine hospitality and respect with the entire team. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
