My elderly Mum and I had lunch here yesterday. The staff were lovely, the food of excellent quality and reasonably priced, in a charming location. I recommend the lamb and mint oggie. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a very pleasant lunch at Country Kitchen Brecon. The cafe seating is upstairs above the deli. The lunch menu has a variety of dishes, sandwiches and toasties. There is also a specials board. I had a very generous Welsh Rarebit with salad and coleslaw. My sister had the roast red pepper and sweet potato soup with a small serving of Welsh Rarebit. They were both excellent. The staff are welcoming and the service was quick. Definitely a place to visit again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

Went in on a quiet Thursday morning and was treated to a mini Rarebit Making Tutorial, complete with Welshman’s Caviar. Wonderfully welcoming and lots of great local produce on the menu and shelves. I hope my rarebit is up to standard. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
