Some of the staff behind the bar are nice, but it should be renamed “The Clique” If you aren’t a reform voter or live on a council estate, expect to get a frosty reception from the regulars. All have their own little posse, very odd people go here. I’d recommend going for 1 and sitting outside then never going back. You’ll start getting funny looks! Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

Nice pub. Gets ruined by the rowdy no teeth group by the pool table. They clearly run the pub. Also I queued a few songs that got skipped? If you spend your money on the jukebox, don’t expect your songs to play! I wanted to play some alt rock, and I guess because it wasn’t Oasis or another generic band, it wasn’t deemed suitable. The staff are lovely, the prices are good, but expect a real lack of etiquette from what I assume are the regulars. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Visited my son at uni in Nottingham and thought we’d explore the Castle area. The Crow looks nice from the outside but there’s zero atmosphere once you’re inside! There was one bored-looking member of staff working on a laptop who made us feel it was a chore to serve us. We ordered a pint of Endless Summer that was cloudy and undrinkable, and a glass of Sauvignon that arrived in a dirty glass. The whole place just felt grubby. We decided not to stay and had a lovely evening at Fothergills just down the road. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
