Very unclean would go bank and felt the staff werrr not very friendly, they really need to to clean dust and dead flies everywhere not what you want to see while eating

I always stay at the Cricketers whenever I’m in this part of the world, lovely food, great company, Simon is an excellent host, I thoroughly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed at The Cricketers Inn with our daughter on our way to Wales after visiting the Jane Austen House, and it was the perfect stopover. Our room was cosy and comfortable, and we received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Dinner was delicious – my husband especially loved the liver, which he couldn’t stop talking about! The continental breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choice. What really makes this place special is its cosy, homely atmosphere. It’s the kind of traditional country inn where the resident dog quietly wanders around, making you feel instantly at home. Fantastic value for money. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming English inn.
