Went to the cross house this week for some food an had a great experience. Food was top the service was superb and the place was lovely. I have been before an will be going again would highly recommend. Staff were great and very helpful. Family friendly pub

We popped into the Cross House Inn on Three Tuns Lane for a casual bite to eat, and it delivers exactly what you would expect from a solid, reliable Greene King venue. It has a classic, welcoming look from the outside with its ivy-covered exterior, and the inside feels cozy and comfortable. It’s a great, straightforward spot right near Cross Green in Formby whether you are finishing up a family day out or just looking for a relaxed place to sit down. The atmosphere is lively and genuinely family-friendly, with a nice community buzz to it. They are incredibly dog-friendly too, which is a massive bonus if you want to bring your pet along. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and did their best to keep things moving, though service can understandably slow down a little bit when it gets packed out during peak weekend hours. Food-wise, it is standard, dependable pub grub. The menu covers all the traditional bases well, offering everything from hearty pies and burgers to great mid-week value deals like their two-mains offer. We tried the classic fish and chips and the Hunter’s chicken; both came out hot, well-presented, and tasted exactly as you’d hope. It isn't fine dining, but it is comforting, honest food that hits the spot when you want an easy meal out without any fuss. The beer garden is also a major highlight—spacious and perfect for a relaxed outdoor drink when the British weather behaves itself. Overall, it’s a very decent, middle-of-the-road choice for the area. It offers good value, a warm environment, and a reliable menu that keeps everyone happy. Price per person: £10–20

We went on the 14th April 2022 to have a drink and you where made welcome by all Staff, whilst having a drink we did admire the food that people had ordered and will be returning to try it out. In my opinion I would highly recommend giving the pub a try as I think you will enjoy and feel welcome. Well done keep up the good work. The Manageress introduced us to some off the staff and they where really nice
