Just happened to find this place via Google search. Fantastic little find. Beef Aranchini and Pulled Pork Crumpet starters were delicious. Juicy burger for main course was excellent. Really pleased we managed to find it. Staff were all very friendly. Parking is excellent. Outside seating. If I could give it 10 stars I would ️. We are blessed with such a wonderful county and on a sunny Saturday the cross keys in Kinnerley delivered a fantastic display of contemporary British food. Good food most definitely = Good mood Offering an inspiring seasonal menu built on high quality local produce it wasn’t long before we found what we were craving. Perfectly tender spring lamb rump, pea and mint purée with sweet braised onions, roasted asparagus and crushed jersey royals. Care went into every element of this dish, individually great but together a triumph. Chicken supreme superbly cooked with seasoned crispy chicken skin. Served with tarragon chicken leg prepared on top of a magnificently crisp potato rosti, courgette purée, peas and broad beans and brought together by bold, silky chicken jus. Overall flawless meat cookery and classic but none the less exceptional flavour combinations. The attention to detail meant we simply didn’t want to finish and can’t wait to return. It’s finding places like this that make our obsession with good food worthwhile. When paired with a welcoming atmosphere, craft ales and a picture perfect country setting you simply couldn’t ask for more. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
