We were so lucky with the weather, we could have easily been winetasting in the southern hemisphere. Staff very professional and helpful and the food was excellent. It was a wonderful way to spend over 3 hours

Really disappointed by the service and lack of warmth we experienced today. We purposely drove around 40 minutes to visit the vineyard with the intention of purchasing some local wine for a family gathering we had later that evening, and were hoping to stop and have a glass at the bar first. I also want to add we were fully aware that wine tastings require booking and absolutely were not expecting that without a reservation. We waited for a while which genuinely wasn’t an issue at all, but when we were acknowledged, we were met very abruptly with, “Have you got a reservation?” We said no, and the lady immediately responded with “No, no, sorry,” before putting her head back down behind the counter. Without acknowledging our response, so unprofessional. I then politely asked if we could at least stop for a drink at the bar, and again was simply told “No.” By that point my husband, father in law with my little boy had already walked out, completely taken aback by how unfriendly and dismissive the interaction felt. It’s such a shame because the venue itself looks beautiful and inviting, and we had fully intended to support the business by buying wine as well. There is absolutely a way to speak to potential customers politely and warmly, even when you’re unable to accommodate them. Sadly, after this experience, we wouldn’t return.

We received a gift voucher for Crouch Ridge Vineyard as a wedding present on 29th June, something we were really looking forward to using. However, I fell pregnant and was unable to use the voucher before it expired on 2nd July 2025. When I explained our situation and requested an extension, the vineyard only offered one month extra. Sadly, having just undergone a C-section, it was impossible for me to attend within that time frame. While I completely understand businesses need to have policies, I feel deeply disappointed by the lack of flexibility and compassion shown in this case. These were circumstances entirely beyond our control, and what should have been a cherished wedding gift has instead gone to waste. The experience has left us with a very poor impression of their customer service.

We would like to make clear a few points that you added to your review to make out you were unfairly dealt with. You received a voucher in June 2024. The first we were aware of your voucher was 25 August 25, 9 weeks after they expired, when you emailed saying that you fell pregnant, BUT there was no mention of the C section, so writing this on Google review is unfair. We responded to you on Tuesday advising that if you had notified prior to the voucher being out of date we could have helped yo, but after the date we cannot. We did not hear from you again until this review.We wish you and your young family every happiness.
