This place is absolutely brilliant! Lovely bar staff made me feel welcome and had a lovely chat, quick service lovely people and the food is fantastic came within 20 minutes and for the price is an absolute bargain! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

There is rip off and then there is RIP OFF! You go to any pub, franchise or non, and order a pub classic like fish and chips, you will see from the picture on what I mean. The cost without a drink is £12.50 and what I got was the tail end of a fish. When I spoke to supervisor he advised it’s the “lunch size” where they cut the fish in half - this is not half, this is half of an half, this is fish finger!! Sorry but this is appalling. Never lunching here again. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I would highly recommend booking the cheese and wine event at The Crown. The selections of wine were great as were the platters of cheese, crackers, grapes, apple and strawberries. It was lovely to have table service and the staff were very attentive. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
