It was just a quick stop to try and miss Caversham traffic. However, the service was what you would expect from a local pub. Everyone knows the locals, their drinks,etc. But when I walked in, the barman stop talking to his friends and attend to me. He could have easily waited for me to approach him when I'm ready, but he didn't, thank you. Place is very spacious and have a outdoor seating area. Large screens for sports. Place is clean and staff is friendly. But, the money I paid for burger and fries was a bit harsh. For that price I was expecting a bit more of a burger and not trying to find the meat...With that said the burger was nice and the flavour of both chicken pieces did go well together. Don't get me started on the sauces.....NEXT LEVEL SHI£. So tasty . So even if you don't want to have a drink, just order the food and have the Stokes suase with it. Simple things in life that can make a difference . Enjoy your visit, it is a great pub. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Looking forward to coming Super Bowl at The Crown Caversham Reading. Been previously and it was great to see on the big screen and was such a good atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and food excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
