What a beautiful spot, driven past many times on the route through to Chichester, last stopped here many years ago, dropped in today for a refreshment break on the way past on a sunny and warm summer Sunday afternoon. Lots of seating available inside and outside, some interesting spots to sit as per photos, we sat out the front to catch some breeze. A reasonable beer and lager selection, some nice wines too. Inside it’s properly old and visually amazing for it, I asked the chap serving how old the pub was, he told me it’s dated to 1440 and is built where another older building had been, it’s the 9th oldest pub in Britain. Worth a visit to sit and enjoy a drink watching the world go past. Service: 5

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. The roast and fish and chips are one of the best we have tried! The service was very good too. We would love to come back again and now to stay 1 night. Beautiful place.

Probably the best hotel for service, comfort and aesthetics that I’ve ever experienced. As a frequent business traveller it can be hard to come across somewhere that feels like home, The Crown Inn does that perfectly, even better, Anna was so wonderful to welcome me that it felt like I was staying in a family manor. On top of that the food is amazing, home cooked food with a warm and cosy atmosphere. A quick bus ride from Haslemere if you’re in the area you must give this beautiful inn and try!
