We live over in Charlbury and usually go to Royal Oak Ramsden but decided to try a new pub. The Crown was recommended to us and we felt it was very good. I have a gluten allergy and the staff were super helpful and very pleasant. The roast dinners were excellent although roasties on the hard side they were still great.

This is a lovely well appointed boutique hotel in a beautiful & quiet part of the country. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the bed and linen were comfortable. The Crown Inn is highly recommended for those wanting something off the beaten track and an authentic English experience.
