If you buy a meal you can park a campervan in the car park overnight free. That's already a big plus. And it's convenient for that, just a few minutes off the motorway. The pub itself is very nice. All the staff who dealt with us were lovely and friendly. The food and wine were very good. And we could take our little dog anywhere in the pub. It has the atmosphere of a busy local pub, with a variety of groups doing assorted things. We went on a Friday night, so it was quite busy but not noisy. There's also a nice park just across the road for walking the dog. The village looks quite nice and we might have had a walk and gone for coffee in the morning if we hadn't been in a hurry. Excellent all round. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

I had my 80th birthday buffet today at the Crown. The food was excellent as was the service, all at a very reasonable price. I'd like to thank James and his team for making it a memorable day. We would highly recommend. Colin and Ann Hart. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
