AVOID THIS HOTEL Now has started housing migrants again . Constantly walking up and down Cronton Lane. Locals not consulted not surprisingly PROTESTS outside last year in September again .Numerous complaints on local Google that rooms are dirty etc . It used to be a reasonable destination for family celebrations and meals that used to be about 10 years ago but has really gone downhill. Looks pretty from the outside but that's where things end . BOOK your family celebration or brief stay ANYWHERE but here . My family have been connected with this area of over 40 YEARS and have really observed this hotel go downhill. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Family night stay, room large and spacious with lovely decorations. TV signal was poor and kept losing picture. The glasses at the bar had not been cleaned correctly, the fruit at breakfast was mouldy and the Knife and forks were also not cleaned correctly. However the cost was low, so it was still value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service: 5

It's such a lovely place to stay warm welcome and the staff are very nice, polite and friendly nothing is too much for you, the food is plenty full and well presented, the domestic staff work very hard to keep all areas of the hotel to a high standard. The grounds are well maintained, and the rooms are equipped with all that you need, I could live here very happily and comfortable. Thanks to Hillcrest Hotel Team.
