We visited Cuchulainn's Irish Pub on Friday evening, and it completely won us over. It truly felt like home. Since leaving Europe many years ago, I've often found myself visiting Quebec whenever I wanted to feel a little closer to my home continent, and this pub brought back that familiar feeling. We loved everything about the place—from the excellent menu to the fact that they even serve non-alcoholic Guinness. Our server, Alina, was outstanding: friendly, professional, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the fish and chips, and they were simply spectacular. The cod loin was perfectly cooked in a light, crispy batter and served with thick-cut fries, delicious dill tartar sauce, and some of the best creamy coleslaw we've ever had. Every bite was fantastic. The only minor downside was the occasional speeding cars outside in the 40 km/h zone, many with extremely loud mufflers. That's obviously not the pub's fault, but it was the only thing that slightly interrupted an otherwise perfect evening. If you're looking for authentic Irish food, a warm welcome, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped into a true Irish pub, Cuchulainn's Irish Pub is well worth a visit.
