My father was one of the first members of the Czech club after WWII and I have been coming here since the 1950's. Bohemia House is the only restaurant in London that serves excellent, authentic Czech food. My personal favourite is svickova, which is a dish I have yet to master at home. The beers are splendid. The dining areas are rather basic and not really welcoming, so it's best to come as a large group. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Parking: Best to come on the underground to West Hampstead.

Really good! Very generous portions, good drinks too. We had 2 starters (devil's toast, plus the weekly special which was white soup), 2 mains (small pork knuckle and beef goulash), and 3 drinks (dark budvar, kofola, and the berry lemonade, malinovka). I originally wanted the svitchkova but they were all out. Anyway, everything was delicious. Rich and flavourful goulash, and the pork knuckle came with a whole selection of condiments, pickles, and good dark bread. We were absolutely stuffed: even without the starters, we probably would've been pretty full. 2 starters, 2 mains, and 3 drinks came to just over £80. Plenty of space, plus pool and table football in the back, and they keep the television in a separate bar so that drinkers and diners don't get too tangled up.
