The fast, clean, cozy and welcoming Daddyo's restaurant at Spadina and Sussex specializes in good pasta where you choose the type and sauce and delivered presto by pleasant staff! There's no HST on weekends for that extra touch. Pictured is the delicious "small" portion of Fettuccinne Vegetale

My daughter and I enjoyed the food at this cozy spot a few nights ago after spending the afternoon at the ROM. The pasta was very good (fettuccine Alfredo and spinach lasagna). As for service, the best was, after realizing that I left my glasses behind, daughter and I made a return trip to retrieve them. As we exited the subway one of the fine young gentlemen that works there recognized us at the subway entrance, stopped us, and informed us that I had left my glasses behind. It ain't over! When I got back to the restaurant another gentleman who looked after us (table service and friendly tourist info) saw me coming, opened the door of the restaurant for me and informed me that he had my glasses. Oh, and did I mention the food was great too! Warms the heart and the tummy!
