Like many before us, we found D&N Kitchen on Google and, since so many sang its praises, we decided to check it out. From other reviews we knew that it "didn't look like a restaurant" from the outside, but when we turned into a residential neighbourhood, my husband asked, "Are we going to someone's house?" No, we weren't, but we did find ourselves at a German community centre where the D&N Kitchen server seated us at a table on the dance floor and served us a wonderful, homemade meal. We tried the soup of the day (potato), along with some borscht, and a variety platter of traditional Ukrainian dishes. All were homemade with care and were really, really delicious. When I mused that we needed a vegetable, the server recommended a selection of homemade pickles, and we went for it -- the sauerkraut went spectacularly with some of the items on the platter, and the pickled mini tomatoes were, indeed, "flavour bombs"! Topped it off by sharing a generous serving of strudel. All in all, we found D&N Kitchen to be a unique and delicious dinner experience and will definitely go again -- maybe for breakfast next time -- when we next find ourselves in Lethbridge. I came here 2 years ago and I still think about it sometimes. If I lived in Lethbridge I'd go here all the time. The wonderful food (borscht, piroshki) and warm, friendly service remain fresh in my mind. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is amazing if you want to feel that comfort of true Eastern European comfort food this is the place to go. I’m working here out of town and discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant. You can’t really tell that it is a restaurant because it is inside of the German Canadian club but seriously don’t look past going here you will not be disappointed easily the best authentic European food I’ve had in awhile if not ever had. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
