Having arrived in Regina only last week, we had already heard a great deal about Darbar Restaurant from our son, who had been persistently urging us to dine there. Today, while returning from Saskatoon, we finally decided to stop for lunch before heading home — and the experience proved to be a pleasant and gratifying one. Darbar strikes a commendable balance in terms of ambiance: neither ostentatiously spacious nor uncomfortably cramped, but adequately proportioned for relaxed and casual family dining. The atmosphere was warm, unpretentious, and conducive to an enjoyable midday meal. The service was notably prompt and courteous. Our orders arrived without unnecessary delay, and the staff handled everything with efficiency and professionalism, which added positively to the overall experience. As for the cuisine, the food was flavorful and competently prepared. While it may not have delivered anything extraordinarily memorable or avant-garde, it certainly satisfied our expectations with its authentic taste and pleasing presentation. Overall, our visit to Darbar Restaurant was thoroughly satisfying.
