Top quality! Great food and great portion sizes for the price. Stars of the show were the chips and desserts. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100

Exceptional food. Exceptional service. Interior is beautiful! Large selection of class wines with beautiful food. Will be coming back for the roast and all the desserts as the pastries and mousse BLEW us away. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Not what it once was. Darby's still does good food but the service and atmosphere has gone right off the boil. On the night we visited, three of us were seated in a table in front of the area where they were struggling to wash all the glasses from what looked like a busy afternoon of drinkers. 4 times, glasses fell and broke off the crowded bar. The final time glass actually went down the back of my friend's dress. The server asked "Are you bleeding?" then ignored us when the answer was no. Only when it was apparent that we had been showered with glass, was a free cocktail offered. Just generally sloppy and amateurish, in a half-empty restaurant. - Edit: This review has been "pending" on Google for 5 months now -.
